Samaritan is made up of volunteers- both men and women- who have the desire to show the love of Christ by using their abilities to meet the practical needs of those  who cannot help themselves.

This is a program focusing on meeting the needs of senior adults in our fellowship and community.

Samaritan Teams

 

Rides
Doctor’s appointment? A trip to the grocery store? Need a ride to church? Give us at least 48 hours, and we’ll do our best to match you up with someone who can help.

 

Visiting Shut-ins
Stuck at home? In a Rehabilitation Center or Assisted Living? Need a word of encouragement or just someone to chat with? If you or someone you know could use a visit, please give us a call and we will do our best to schedule one.

 

Notes, cards and flowers
Do you know of someone who could use an encouraging word or a pick me up? We’d love to help cheer them up! Give us their name and address and we’ll work on sending something out.

 

Phone calls
Know of someone who is lonely or just needs a pleasant word of encouragement? Give us their name and number and we’ll have someone call to chat.

 

Housework
Under the weather and need a hand? Just can’t do the work because of age or sickness? Need a closet organized, furniture moved, or a room vacuumed? How about a load of laundry? Call us and we’ll do our best to schedule some help.

 

Yard work
Does the yard look overwhelming to tackle because of age or sickness? Could you use a helping hand? Give us a call and we’ll do our best to schedule some help.

 

Home repair
For those in difficult financial situations- Is something in your home in desperate need of attention? We’ll do our best to match you up with a handy-man or two who will help you out.

 

Auto repair
For those in desperate financial situations- Is something clanging or bumping- just not working quite right? Our car repair team will do their best to figure out the problem so your car can run smoothly again.

 

Tech & Electronic Support
Need that new DVD player hooked up? Can't figure out how to use that remote control or another new fangled electronic device? Would you like to setup an email address? We'll do our best to help you out
