Dean has served as senior pastor of CLF since 1991. Having grown up as a pastor's kid in Minnesota, church life is part of his DNA. He  believes in the church, and loves to see it work in the way God intended.

He is a graduate of North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When he is not engaged in church work, he enjoys gardening and golfing, but readily admits to being proficient at neither!

Leata was born and raised in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She met and married Dean at North Central University. They have two married sons and a granddaughter, so her hobby is staying in touch with them, regardless of what continent they happen to be on.

Leata's ministry passion is to create an environment where people find places to connect with each other in meaningful relationships. You will find her attempting to get as many people as she can into one of the many small groups available at CLF.
